Red Duende (2018)

RED DUENDE

Painted during an intense hard-edged abstract geometric phase of Charles's art following moving back to Bondi Beach (Sydney, Australia) from living in Bangkok for the previous 4-5 years. Having completed his Turps Correspondence art training with Phil King conducted remotely with London, he was keen to incorporate other dimensions - Phil suggested outside or something Cullum Innes - but fortuantely for Charles, new technologies and other realities awaited. This is his first series using Augmented Reality which started in 2017.
