Working with artists Tricky Walsh and Lisa Reihana, Futures of Art founder Charles Clapshaw idealised and delivered the augmented reality art as part of Cosmpolis 2: rethinking the human.

ELEVATE AR is the first public Augmented Reality skyshow created by Charles Clapshaw, live in the iconic Circular Quay, Sydney in partnership with AGB Events.

The exciting new artwork was brought to life as large-scale augmented reality activations of the original pieces curated by Sydney-based artist and immersive innovator, Charles Clapshaw from world-renowned artists, Alex Seton and Robert Fielding.

Invited to participate in the 22nd Biennale of Sydney, and in consultation with the project leaders at Mimili Maku Arts, we used Augmented Reality to translate Mr Williams’ words so audiences can access the deeper meaning behind each of the 36 banners. When viewing the individual elements of the installation through a smartphone, they translate into English, revealing the strong messages held within the works.
